A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Biography

Habib Saleh is a visual artist and storyteller from Lebanon whose practice moves between fashion and portrait photography, documentary photography, and filmmaking. His work often extends into writing, where fragments of philosophical and existential thought intertwine with his images, each informing the other. This multidisciplinary approach allows him to shift between the worlds of editorial and the deeply personal, drawing connections between lived experience, memory, and representation.

ABOUT MY PROCESS

My Work

Habib Saleh’s practice is shaped by the instability of life in Lebanon and the ways it leaves traces on memory and daily existence. He works mostly with natural light and familiar environments, allowing presence, honesty, and chance to guide the image. His photographs explore memory, survival, and the fragile tension between absurdity and reality. What drives him is the persistence of quiet, intimate moments within chaos, and the coexistence of beauty and devastation. Through photography, he seeks to hold onto what slips away and to give space to what is often overlooked yet deeply human.
